Jin Jin Huang graduated from Pennsylvania State University with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering in 2002 and from Columbia University with a MPA in Environmental Science and Policy in 2011. Prior to joining Con Edison, Jin Jin worked 10 years in HVAC consulting at various engineering firms in New York City.  At Con Edison, Jin Jin managed the building engineers’ group that provided technical support for the implementation of all of the energy efficiency programs.    She was the technical advisor for the implementation of the Demand Management Program with NYSERDA.  She is a technical advisor for Con Edison and NYSERDA’s on-going effort in working with the AHJs in the permitting and installation of battery storage systems in the NYC service territories.  Her current role is senior engineer in the Distribution Engineering group.  She project managed efforts for voltage optimization in various Con Edison networks and is a team member in the strategic planning of the Distributed Energy Resource Management System.

She has served as the co-chair for the Nature Conservancy’s Young Professionals Board and she is currently the Vice President of the Board of Governors for the ASHRAE New York Chapter.  She was the recent Chair for the Publications Committee and now serves on the Publications and Education Council for the ASHRAE national chapter.
